Fire Drill
On Tuesday we had a real fire drill. We got out and stayed out untill Fireman Dan said it was safe! Well done to Rimutaka for staying calm and moving quickly
Creative Critters
Every Tuesday Room 8 takes part in Creative Critters. This week we used newspaper and celotape to creative something amazing! We hat bats, snow, eiffel towers, masks and more!

Construction Maths
Today we used construction of a cubby to practice our maths. We counted in 2s as we screwed the screws and hammered the nails. We used number bonds to talk about the different ways to make $10

Classes about to be demolished
Today we went into Nga Wai classes. It will be demolished in the holidays so we got to write on the walls!!!

taller, shorter, same size
Today for measurement we used a gingerbread man to compare size. We had to find things around the room that were taller, shorter and the same size. We used the ipad to make these collages...
Creativity
This afternoon we had discovery time. We were looking at creativity. All our activities helped us to practise creativity. We were creativity with ... the play dough, ipads app Brushes, the blocks, and drawing!
New classrooms
We had a great view of the new classrooms coming in today. It was very exciting to see the crane lift the class over the hedges and onto the court
