To finish our th week we read and illustrated a th poem about a thieving bear. We had to find all the th words, an exclamation mark and a qu word from last week. Check out this amazing work

Learning celebration

Counting by 5's

Tofay some of us practised counting by 5's. We used a hundreds board to circle the 5's and we noticed a pattern!  We used animals and counters to jump along the 5's

Compliment circle

Today we had a compliment circle. We went around the circle and shared nice this about each other it made us feel warm and fuzzy

These boys worked so hard filling in the missing sounds they wanted to show everyone on our blog!!

Ipads

Today we used the ipads to listen to Sarah read a story at the end she asked us to do something.  We had to use an app to make a new page for a big book! Here are some of our purple cars..

Casey shapes

Tofay we used out Casey shapes to make a t and h for our th sound. We used a tall stick, twig and tunnel. Check out the super handwriting we did

Last day at swimming

Today was our last day swimming.  We had some people leaning to kick, float with life jackets and glide. Ka pai on great swimming this term

This week we are learning the th sound

This week we are looking at the th sound tofay we used our sound blocks to wrote down th words. The th is two letters making one sound.

Few things to remember

Tomorrow (Tuesday ) is our last swimming day.

We are practising a song for our learning celebration next week. Words to the song have been sent home today!

Today we read the story what the sea feeds us. We wrote what the sea might feed us if we went there today

Library day

Today is Friday which means it's library day! We each chose a book to take home. Don't forget to being back your books so you can get another one

Finding capitals

Today the red pencils group wrote a story from our teasure box! Then they put on the special editing glasses to check they had started with a capital. They had!!!

P.e

Today we went outside for some P.E. we used hoola hoops in lots of different ways

Super sentences

Today we had a look at Karls story. It had super sentences in it! Karl got to wear the super sentence medal. I wonder whose story will be next ?

Rubbish free week

Today we had a nice time sitting at out tables to eat our lunch! All our rubbish went back into our lunchboxes because this week is rubbish free week

Counting on

Today in group 3 we were learning to count on. We turned the numbers in the number line over so we couldn't see them and had to think what numbers would come next!

Casey Shapes

We have been learning Casey Shapes. They are shapes that make letters! Today we used an open mouth, hanging stick and a sloping stick. We HAD to also add a u because q is never with out u.

Go noodle star

Every morning we move and groove to go noodle! Today Josh and Liam were our stars! Check out their moves
